Filters
Filtering your solution or gas before injecting it into the desired instrument can have a big impact on the result. For example, a simple filter can ensure that impurities are captured and therefore increasing the lifetime of your instruments and columns. It also reduces the chances of “carry over”.
Choosing the right filter is very important. You do not want the desired components to be filtered. There are many different filters in different particle sizes, filter diameter and material. There are also combination filters containing multiple materials and pore sizes, to capture as many impurities as possible. Depending on what needs to be filtered, the right filter material should be selected.
