Op 21 november 2024 organiseren wij een exclusieve Clarity Software User Training op het kantoor van onze zusterorganisatie Salm en Kipp in Breukelen.

Wat kunt u verwachten?

  • Een gratis, interactieve training onder leiding van Samuel Frei en Barbora Prokesova, experts van DataApex, de makers van Clarity software, samen met onze productmanager Jan Volkers.

Tijdens de training behandelen we zowel de basisprincipes als de meer geavanceerde aspecten van de software. We cordially invite you to an exciting 3-day training course ‘Get more out of your HPLC and/or GPC’, on November 28-30, 2023 in Breukelen, NL.

Reason

The reason for organizing this event stems from a common observation in the field: often users are not fully aware of the extensive capabilities that HPLC and GPC/SEC offer for determining things like mole mass and size of components. Your HPLC or GPC/SEC system is often capable of providing more information than you may suspect.

Aim

During this training course you will have the opportunity, under the guidance of two renowned experts, namely Dr. Christian Dauwe of AppliChrom and Dr. Klaus-Dieter Bures of WGE Dr. Bures, to discover how to take advantage of the various aspects of these analytical techniques on the basis of a practical example with gummy bears, including packaging. This will cover the following possibilities:

  • Determining low molecular weight components using HPLC
  • Determining high molecular weight components via Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) and Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC).

We will teach you how to determine the identity, concentration, molar mass and molecular size of different components taking into account various factors such as the type of chromatography column, measurement conditions and detector type.

Using a practical example with gummy bears, including packaging, low and high molecular weight components are determined.tector.

In addition, we will update you on the latest developments in HPLC and GPC/SEC to keep you fully informed about the capabilities these analytical techniques have to offer.

Webinar MultiVIEW

Now meet the MultiVIEW microwave oven. With 12 individually controllable microwaves, each with its own IR temperature sensor, this microwave is unique in its kind. This system is ideally suited for both R&D and High Throughput lab.

On April 7 from 15:00 – 15:40 our Product Manager Jeroen van Boxtel together with Art Ross from SCP Science will show you live the MultiVIEW in action.

Do you regularly have samples of different kinds or large series?
If you have to deal with different types of samples for which you want to apply different protocols, then this MultiVIEW might be interesting for you. You can set the temperature course for each sample separately. The screenshot below shows how this looks on the screen. This also applies to large series of samples. In combination with 4 AutoLOADER Units it is possible to unlock up to 300 samples in succession.
