M1 Class Pumps
The compact M1 Class consists of single-head, positive displacement piston pumps that deliver high performance and precision at an affordable price. Superior to gear, diaphragm and peristaltic pumps, the M1 Class offers better performance at the same cost as lesser performing products.
Applications include precise chemical dosing, dispensing and specific HPLC separations. Standard fluid path material is stainless steel and PEEK. With 10 mL/min and 40 mL/min versions reaching pressures up to 2,000 psi, these pumps capture most typical laboratory fluid transfer applications.
Features include interactive keyboard control, pulse valve and exhaust filter, RS-232 serial and micro USB 2.0 ports for full PC control and status, as well as hardware for mounting on a laboratory stand. With the smallest possible footprint for a high-pressure pump, the M1 class can be easily integrated into any laboratory or industrial environment.
MX-class pump
The economical MX Class consists of single-head, positive displacement piston pumps with additional features for challenging applications. With pressure ratings up to 5,000 psi, the MX class can be used in both analytical and small-scale preparative HPLC separations.
Other applications include demanding dosing and dispensing, as well as sample injection, infusion or cone washing for mass spectrometers. Standard liquid path materials are stainless steel and PEEK, in addition to the optional Titanium. With 10 ml/min and 40 ml/min versions, these pumps can handle most demanding laboratory applications.
Features include available pressure monitoring with automatic pressure compensation, Pulse Dampener, integrated Prime-Purge Valve, interactive keypad control, and full PC control and status via RS-232 and Micro USB 2.0 ports. The MX class requires minimal bench space for performance and can be easily integrated into most workspaces.
LS class pump
The reliable LS class consists of single-head, positive displacement piston pumps with advanced cam designs for very low pulsation. With microstepping motor technology and a proven single-piston pump mechanism, the LS class exceeds the performance of more expensive units at a fraction of the cost.
The pumps are ideal for a wide range of HPLC applications (including biocompatible separations), Semi-Prep LC, dosing & dispensing, and general laboratory use. Standard liquid path materials are Stainless Steel and PEEK, in addition to optional Titanium. Other available features include jacketed heads for temperature controlled processes. With 5 mL/min, 10 mL/min, and 40 mL/min, and pressure ratings up to 6,000 psi, these versatile pumps meet the most demanding applications.
Features include automatic pressure compensation, pulsation damper, integrated Prime-Purge Valve, interactive keyboard control, and full PC control and status via RS-232 and Micro USB 2.0 ports. The unique LS class offers the highest performance/cost ratio in a compact package.
LS class pump (binary).
The adaptable Binary Gradient Pump System, part of the LS class, is an advanced pumping system for two-solution high-pressure gradient applications. The system is designed with two single-head positive displacement piston pumps integrated into a functional housing.
Equipped with belt drive mechanisms with molded cam and electronic fast refill, the system produces very low pulsation. Fluid path materials are stainless steel and PEEK, with optional titanium. Available features include Prime-Purge valves for each channel, Pulsation Dampeners for reduced pulsation, pressure monitoring with integrated transducer, shot outlet filters, an in-line, high pressure, low volume mixing chamber, and a drip tray with leak sensor.
The system is equipped with the SSI Gradient Control Board, which has an integrated Software GUI for customizable method development and input. This enables autonomous binary gradient generation without the need for continuous computer monitoring and control after the method is downloaded onto the control board. Serial commands can be used to directly set pump flow rates, start/pause or monitor status. Additional functions of the gradient board include control of two solvent selection valves, multiple timed occurrences and leak detection.
LD class pump
The versatile LD Class consists of two-head, positive displacement piston pumps that deliver unmatched performance for analytical, flash and small-scale preparative chromatography applications. Featuring the patented SSI Pulse Dampener with low dead-volume volume, advanced cam technology and a dual piston mechanism, the LD class offers virtually pulse-free operation.
The pumps are designed for high flow rate accuracy and low pulsation required for Analytical Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Standard materials for the fluid path are stainless steel and PEEK, in addition to the optional Titanium. Other available features include jacketed heads for temperature-controlled processes. With 12 mL/min, 36 mL/min and 100 mL/min versions reaching pressures up to 6,000 psi, these pumps meet the performance requirements of demanding HPLC needs.
The powerful linear cams, along with automatic pressure compensation, provide accurate flow rates for very precise high-pressure and low-pressure gradients. Standard features include an integrated Prime-Purge Valve, Pulse Dampener, interactive keyboard control and full PC control and status via RS-232 and Micro USB 2.0 ports. The LD class provides the accurate flow and low pulsation for the most challenging separations.
LU class pump
The analytical LU class consists of dual-head, positive displacement piston pumps that deliver precise flow rates at extremely high pressures. Available fluid path materials are stainless steel and titanium for standard and bio-compatible UHP chromatography applications.
The LU class is designed for fast, high-pressure analytical HPLC, with higher peak resolution and exceptional retention time repeatability. SSI’s advanced solvent select feature provides highly accurate flow rates at high pressure for a wide variety of solvents, especially where compressibility is an important factor. Pressure output is 18,000 psi, with a maximum flow rate of 5 mL/min.
Standard features include automatic pressure compensation, full PC control and status via RS-232 and Micro USB 2.0 ports, solvent selection and user calibration. With pulse-free performance and precise control, the LU class offers the highest flow accuracy over the entire pressure range.
PR-class pump
The rugged PR Class consists of dual-head, positive displacement piston pumps that offer high, accurate flow rates and excellent pressure capabilities for a variety of applications. Standard fluid path material is stainless steel and PEEK, in addition to optional Titanium. Other available features include jacketed heads for temperature-controlled processes.
The pumps are designed for a wide range of Preliminary and Semi-Preparative Chromatography, SMBC (simulated moving bed chromatography), and many process and industrial applications. With 100 mL/min and 300 mL/min versions reaching pressures up to 4,000 psi, the pumps meet the most demanding LC and process requirements.
Features include an integrated Prime-Purge Valve, interactive keyboard control and full PC control and status via RS-232 and Micro USB 2.0 ports. The PR class provides the flow rates and pressures required for high-throughput separations.
